Relations between the US and Europe have been strained enough over uncompromising war policies and disparate diplomats, but Nintendo's decision to localize Picross DS for our Atlantic opposites while ignoring North America's pleas threatens to escalate the conflict even further. Already, protesters are rallying on embassy steps, stomping on french fries and singing hymns of freedom.Hoping to avert an international crisis, GameStop has put up a Picross title on its site for $19.99, announcing a July 31st stateside release for the logic puzzler. For some, that distant date is unacceptable. Others refuse to even believe that it's the same game and not a generic product. To appease their ire, online shop SendIt has agreed to offer the UK version of the game at a discount. Picross DS has a £14.89 (approximately $30.00) listing on the site, and CAG forumers have reported paying $32.87 after US shipping and handling charges. As far as import prices go, that's quite a deal!

This really is a great game, but once u get past the 10x10 puzzles the zoom mode becomes frustrating. The Illust Logic game from the Japanese DS puzzle series game is a better picross game IMO. But the ability to download dozens of extra puzzles, as well as compete against other players via online WIFI is very awesome and pulled off quite nicely in this game. The tutorial mode is also pretty good for complete newbs.
(Im an american who has the ROM on a flashcart)

Please, learn to live with it! It's just unfair to complain about little things like these. European gamers get almost every title months after the North American release with a much higher price tag.. We got FFIII like what, 6 months after NA?
And back to topic. The cheapest Picross DS in Finland seems to go for 32.9 euros (44.5 dollars). What's it going for in other European countries?

It would be nice to see confirmation one way or another if a US version is on the way -- I already have the JP version, but I would like to pick up copies for friends and family and they have no desire to pay >$40 and/or play it in Japanese.
BTW -- doesn't the $20 price point seem low? It is a Wi-Fi game, and the cheapest I've seen Wi-Fi games is $30, usually $35.
