Nintendo is giving all of you auteurs a chance at some exposure, cash, and Nintendo swag, and all you have to do in return is mess around with a camera. They're asking for entries for their Short Cuts Showcase, to be shown at the Top of the Rock in New York City's Rockefeller Center.
To enter, make a three-to-five minute film that includes something Nintendo-related and submit it on CD or DVD by June 6. If you're not up for the Elite Beat Agents theme, may we suggest a courtroom drama? Also, if you happen to have DS Fanboy open in the background of your movie at some point, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Johnny, tell them what they'll win after the break!
First Place winner will receive:
• Trip to New York City for the winner and a guest
• Film screened at Nintendo Short Cuts Showcase at Rockefeller Center
• $10,000 in cash
• Exclusive meeting with Craig Hatkoff, co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival
• Wii & Wii software
• Nintendo DS Lite & Nintendo DS software
Second and Third Place:
• Film screened at Nintendo Short Cuts Showcase at Rockefeller Center
• Wii & Wii software
7 Finalists will each receive:
• Nintendo DS Lite & Nintendo DS software

I have awesome ideas for this and people to do it with, but the production quality will turn out all bad. Plus, I'm a eurofag and thus am probably not applicable for entry. Whoo.

...does the no non nintendo tradmarked material mean no Phoenix Wright material could be used?
What about Tetris, isn't that owned by someone different?
It seems all my favorite Nintendo games aren't by Nintendo.
