UK
Pokemon fans are in for a treat (literally) as tomorrow has GAME stores giving away the above. It's a Pokeball, as you can imagine, that's
chocolate. Combining our two favorite things (
Pokemon and succulent chocolate), we find ourselves jealous that we're not there getting a chocolate ball of our own
and beating up others for theirs after we devoured ours.
Any of you in the UK plan on heading down to your local shop and gnawing on one of these?

Looks like I have a second excuse for driving to GAME tomorrow. This is the promo that's running:
http://www.game.co.uk/lowdown.aspx?lid=7397&cm_sp=pokemon-_-topbnav-_-manaphys
In short, it's a day where visiting a local store nets you a Manaphy code to use in a completed copy of Pokémon Ranger. The code unlocks an extra mission, and completing it allows you to trade a Manaphy egg to Diamond and Pearl. They're also running a design-a-pokémon competition with a DS Lite for a prize.
I literally bought the game yesterday, and found out about this promo today. Good thing the main story is short (10 hours +), otherwise I'd be spinning that beybl....CAPTURE STYLER all night trying to finish the game in time.
I expected I'd have to shuffle up to the clerk with a copy of Mario Strikers (which I intended to buy anyway) and nervously mutter "code plz, kthx". However, chocolate pokéball FTW. It doesn't matter that the site linked by the article reveals the code early; I want that chocolate ball.

Mainman, you've been able to get that code from pokemon.com since like March.

IN fact, here's the code, direct from pokemon.com:

Be interesting to see if GAME is giving different codes, or if their claim of "exclusive" is a lie.

bawww. I have diamond but not ranger, nor two DS's to transfer myself a manaphy egg over. I hope that some clever importer gets to breeding these things quicksmart. I find it hilarious that theyre giving the thing away when diamond/pearl arent out in europe for another two months.

The UK code is different from ours. Obviously.

You also can't get a Manaphy from breeding. They only breed into Phione, which doesn't evolve.

Corectumundo. Rick, had you taken the time to cross-reference your code with the one in the linked article, you would have noticed they were different. I visited GameFAQs earlier to check for the code, saw the one Rick has posted, and tried it; no effect in the UK version.
@ ALH:
Go to Gamestation and ask a clerk if any of them have a DS they could use to help you transfer the egg across. I say Gamestation rather than GAME since almost every clerk I've met in a Gamestation has had a deep knowledge of games and has been privy to a spot of on-the-job fun, compared to the mostly by-the-book GAME clerks (Probably a different management policy at work). There's enough stories about the antics of the staff at my local Gamestation to fill an article, ranging from shop-floor wrestling (it was a VERY quiet Sunday), to slapping a Ł5 price sticker on a mangled Barbie and sticking it in the front window display, to rounding up any non-retro games priced under Ł5 and labelling them 'Best _____ Game Ever'. So, yeah, someone should be able to help you if you're lucky.
