At least, we hope that the new English version of the Doki Doki Majo Shinpan site means we might see it in this part of the world sometime in the distant future. Though the site still only lists a Japanese date, there are at least two translated versions -- Chinese and this rough new English site -- so we'll keep our eyes peeled for any signs of a non-Japanese release.
[Thanks, Ricardo!]
English-speaking gamers can hunt witches, too

Yeah. This game isn't at all paedophilic. The IGN description, word for word is, and I quote: In the game's Majo Saiban (Sorceress Judgment) Mode, you use the stylus to touch girls to determine who's a sorceress.
.... I already preordered.

SNK just wants to make sure everyone can at least read about touching witches.

Five years ago, SNK would have charged $300 for this game. That's a scary thought.

JC, I don't think the NeoGeo could handle the awesomeness of Shinpan.
It lacks a touch screen. :O

So thoroughgoing touching, stares in the face, just do everything and use all techniques you have to investigate. Well, sometimes you have to remember to smile to them or maybe use some goods you have.
This is a mission. If you are embarrassed, there is no chance you get to the evidence....
Stare the ladies (using the icon of eye), smile to them in the appropriate timing, show them the evidences you have collected, and of course don’t forget to have the normal communications such as directly touching them. Just wondering, is the directly touching is normal or not…
Anyway, make full use of the icons, stylus, and your techniques to try making the heart of witches beating.
*Nintendo said it first, Touching is goooood...

Site translated by a dislexic Japanese child who learned English in AOL chat rooms. Or so it seems. :)

Maybe they're taking a page from Capcom's playbook and releasing a version with multiple selectable languages?
I might actually have to buy it then, even if it is the kind of game you don't explain to your friends.
"What're you playing?"
"Uh, it's a game about witch hunting--"
"--why are you stroking that girl with a stylus?"
*hangs head*

Actually, it IS Shinpan. Taking a close look at the furigana underneath the Kanji on the game's cover will confirm this fact.
