Chunsoft is already hard at work on the sequel to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, a process that they should have down by now after God knows how many licensed Roguelikes. The new one looks pretty much just like the last one, but with new critters. This should not be a surprise to anyone who has ever played, seen, or heard of Pokémon. Check out the screens at GAME Watch and see if you're interested in another journey into the cave of monsters.
We have two theories about the sales of this game: either they'll be boosted by renewed Pokémania due to the recent release of Diamond and Pearl, or they'll be reduced due to the fact that fans are satisfied with the real games and don't need to go into spinoff land. What do you think?

Well, considering I didn't give the first mystery dungeon a second look until Pearl had almost completely consumed my soul (and I'm still waiting for the delivery of Blue Rescue Squad from eBay), I expect the former.

I played Blue Rescue Team for a couple of hours or so before I got bored of it. If everyone else is like me, it'll be the latter.
I've more or less stopped buying Pokémon spinoff games now...
Hey, if anyone wants Blue Rescue Team, I'd probably sell it...

I got mystery dungeon, and it was retty fun at first. But down the line you get really sick of it because they fucked up all the type advantages and put in stupid traps in 100 floor dongens tha really kill the pokemon formula.

You know, I like the Mystery Dungeon games better than the main series. Roguelikes are really excellent games and Chunsoft knows what they're doing. So regardless of what the Pokemon fanbase does, -I- will be picking up the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
