The Japanese always luck out when it comes to games! From June 28th to July 11th, Japanese gamers with a copy of (deep breath) Moeru! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 will be able to head to the nearest DS Download Station and download the Elite Beat Agents characters, as well as Neko, for use in Ouendan 2. If we said we weren't jealous, we'd be bold-faced liars.

Most likely, these characters are already in the game pak -- we just need someone to figure out how to unlock them.
If they're not there, someone will post up a save game with the characters, and we'll get them that way :)

I go through all the trouble of importing it, and they pull this... damn...
Isn't there some way to emulate DS download stations with a wireless computer? Maybe someone... working at a game store... that has a download station... in Japan... will be cool enough to upload the program.

Well, how you could get it depends on 1 of 2 things:
1: The characters are already in there, in which case some Action Replay tinkering will unlock them
2: The characters are stored in the save chip, in which case you wait for someome with a save containing it to dump the save, and put it up on the internet to be put on your card with an Action Replay.

@ ConstyXIV -
Well, the save size for Ouendan 2 (and EBA) is 256KB. They have to store scores for 19 songs * 4 plus 20 replays. I would bet that the characters are already in the cart and they just need to be unlocked.

Yes, that's very true, there is a distinct possibility for people with Action Replay to get these characters. Unfortunately, I don't have an Action Replay (nor do I want to overwrite my Ouendan 2 save)

It's definitely an unlock that it sends as some people have already hacked up codes for the R4.

The phrase is "bald-faced". It's meant to indicate that you aren't even trying to hide the fact that you're lying.
