Oh, the reasons why we wish
we were Japanese just keep piling on, as Japanese gamers celebrate the
release of
Taiko Drum Master on the DS this week. Seriously, we're dying to get our hands on this game. Sure, we could
import it, but who wants to navigate Japanese menus? Damn our laziness!
Enough about us and our desires. What are you planning on playing this weekend?

Touch Detective. I'm on Case 4 and I have to beat it before I move onto another heavily story based game. I've got Pheonix Wright 2 and Hotel Dusk on the backburner waiting until I've finished Touch Detective.

I plan on playing Taiko Drum Master DS and It's a Wonderful World. I'm liking the music in here.
Also, I'm not too sure about Nomura being the actual character designer, I've only seen 1 zipper and 2 belts so far.

I'm going to play Taiko Drum Master this weekend. Sure, it's a bit on the easy side, but it's one of the most import-worthy games I've played in a long time. I kind of like how the dual-stylus format of gameplay helps reduce piracy; I assume this is the reasoning behind that sliding DS game being worked on as well.

I got this game, and i highly recommend it and the menu is super easy to learn because there is only 5 selections in the menu to choose from:
Play Song
Play Daily Challenge Song
Play Against Friend on Wifi
Change Taiko's Cloths/Read Mail
Options
Also i got it's a wonderful world, that game is down right kickass and i cant even read it but i do understand whats happening and what i need to do next because the entire game menu is in english just not the info on items and such.

I was gonna spend some time with the newly released Heavenly Sword demo on PS3, but it was a steaming turd of a demo coming in at about 2 minutes of play time. So, I will fall back on the trusty DS, playing Jump! Ultimate Stars and maybe some Age of Empires.

It's called a flash device, look into it. That's how I've already played through all the songs on Easy Mode and have received Gold trophy/medal things and dressed up my Taiko drum as a dog :D

i'm going to play TDM, of course... it's higly addictive!
@Covarr:
i don't see how the dual stylus affects piracy. every ds comes with 2 stylus anyway (well, i've got 2 ds and both came with 2).
