The Game Chamber is a storage case with a twist -- well, two twists, really: 1) It's a lot bulkier than most other solutions, but more durable as a result, and 2) You can't take a game out without putting one back in.Why would Daze Products purposefully implement a prohibitive feature like this? According to the company's press release, the design "[teaches] kids how to take responsibility for their personal belongings."
The locking mechanism helps prevent children from doing whatever they seem to always be doing to lose their games, by forcing the little brats to keep their cartridges organized and accounted for.
Daze Products has the Game Chamber available in three different colors at its site -- silver, blue, and pink -- selling them for $14.95 each. Rotate and locate the embedded video demonstration past the post break.

I think they are underestimating the stubbornness of children. I can see some brat thinking "You think that little plastic thing is going to stop me?"

All the kid has to do is get one of the blanks and put it in the empty slot. That's handy if a game is stolen or lost before they have a chance to put it back in the device. It's a cute concept but kinda bulky. Some parents will buy it, and it won't really solve the problem entirely, but it'll certainly prevent some lost games.

Seems like a big waste of space to me. Come on, the carts are flat, wouldn't it be better to stack stem?

How about a game case that's a puzzle? Every time you want to get to a game you have to solve a complicated 3-dimensional rubiks-cube-esque puzzle? Maybe by the time you finished though you might have already gotten your game "fix". And hell, you won't even have to worry about your kid losing his games if he can't get to them.

i think it would be better for kids to have the DS carts in 9mm like clips and shoot out games- atleast they will get some replay value

Just buy your kids a used Game Boy Pocket / Color / Advance (original model). Cheap Games. Cheap Hardware. They'll have fun, and you won't give a damn if they lose that 3 dollar game you picked up out of a box at Game Crazy.
They'll also be able to brag about beating Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters, Gargoyle's Quest, and Drill Dozer when they get older to the gasps of many a friend.

@ AlanS17 it teaches the kids to be shrewd little capitalists, do nothing without getting something material in return

The games are stored sideways. How the hell are you supposed to read the label so you can actually see which game you are taking out. FAIL!!!

The negative comments being posted are not worth the time it takes to read! Their naive comments are just another example of lack of knowledge and speaking out their %#$, if they had the slightest idea what they were talking about they would be looking for a way to invest in this company and help improve its functionality. As usual comments of these types come from jealous undereducated people who wish they had thought of it first. The Gamechamber is the best storage idea to come along in decades!!! Signed “Chameleon”

The Game Chamber is a great way in helping kids to become more responsible for their games. It's also an excellent device to help in preventing the loss of many costly game discs. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

What a concept. Thanks to the people behind this wonderful product! Our kids think it's great and loved adding a personal touch to each game chamber with their own decorations.
Kids & parents, it's worth a try.

My kids think it's great, their games are in one place & readily available. If they want to loan one to their friend they ask me for a blank. I'm buying another one for my cousins children
