It's here at last --
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass! Like the Nintendo World Store, we know how to celebrate, though with considerably fewer prizes, unfortunately. That doesn't mean we aren't hyped, though; in fact, we'll be spending time focusing on all things Zelda for the entire week.
Anyone headed to the event in New York? We'd love to hear about it if you're going (or if you already have). If, like the rest of us, you're not close enough to join in on the fun, share your excitement with us here. We've been waiting for this one for a
long time ....

Target is WEAK, that's what the deal is! Are they giving anything out with the game? Cuz Toy R Us is actually giving away the Player's Guide with the game for free, but they're selling it one day later. I've waited over a year, so I can wait one extra day for a Player's Guide.

I've pre-ordered my copy from Play-Asia - cheapest price you're likely to find!

Even the shipping is cheaper than most places :)
Can't wait!

SWEET! It's here at last! I finished Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations last night (FANTASTIC 5th case, btw... best case in the whole series BY FAR), and I was wondering what the heck I was gonna play next. I guess now I know!

Isn't "hands on" spelled with a hyphen and not a space?
Otherwise, this really makes me wish i lived in an hour or two's driving distance from NYC
I'm still debating whether (if my parents allow) i could beg to take December 2nd-3rd off school and go for Brawl launch

"I've pre-ordered my copy from Play-Asia - cheapest price you're likely to find!"
Play-Asia is listing it as $39.90.
EBGames is listing it as $34.99
Amazon is listing it as $34.99
Bad-er...Best Buy is listing it as $34.99
Wal-Mart is listing it as $34.82
Now how is that the cheapest price that I'll likely find, when the next four searches I did all came up cheaper?
Hermes, keep in mind that the game SHIPS October 1st. Depending on where you live, the game may show up the next day. In my area, Ship Date + 1 is always assumed when they list dates online.

Strike Man - Ack, I forgot to mention that I live in Australia, and hence was talking about it as buying the US version as an import title.
Play-Asia works out to AUD $50 including postage.
The only bricks-and-mortar store that will have the US version available on release (maybe) will have it for AUD $60-$80.
The other online retailers who will ship to my area all worked out to be more expensive when postage costs were added.
Buy yeah, my bad for not mentioning it was an import for me.

Ah, my apologies for jumping to conclusions. Even after all these years, it's still sometimes hard to wrap my mind around the whole "WORLD WIDE" part in www. ;)
Under those circumstances, yeah, it seems that PA is a bit of a bargain.

No worries - one last thing to emphasise that it's a good deal... Games tend to cost more for us in general in Aust.
Places like EB sell most DS games for $60 to $70 AUD - that's the local versions, not import.
If you shop around, you can *sometimes* get them for $50 to $60...
So when I got linked to PA and realised I could have an import game for less than the usual price of a local release, I was happy to put my order in . :D
