We can safely pledge, however, that, despite the rough bits in the above trailer, Barnyard Blast will be the best Castlevania parody game to ever star a cowboy pig and appear in stores on January 15th, 2008. Yes, it's a hard gamble, and we're really putting our reputation on the line here, but we're going to hold our breath and roll the dice anyway.

I don't have very many DS games (I'm a PSP fanboy, I got a DS for my birthday...) but I believe I'll have to buy this. Also, these things look cute in full motion.

Thanks Eric! I can indeed guarantee you that there cannot possibly be any better Castlevania parody game featuring a pig and released on January 15. Our game definitely tops this broad category!

Why is this game getting so much press here? It doesn't look fun at all.

@DaveH
Eric suggested Swine of the Night as the tagline. Yan Marchal or one his fellow developers took that suggestion and ever since then DSF has been following this game.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this game is going to be really bad.

It looks like a very cute side-scrolling action game to me. I'd be interested even without the Eric-supplied subtitle.

@Afterlifer82 -- it's already a budget game, which only adds to the appeal to me.
I'm with JC. Even without the whole YAY ERIC bit, being a huge fan of both a) Castlevania and b) parody, this is, to me, filled with win.
