Another week in Japan has come and gone, which means yet another week of ridiculous success for the DS. The hardware managed to top 300k for the week, while heavy hitters like Final Fantasy IV, Dragon Quest IV, and Mario Party DS littered the top ten in the software charts. It was also a good week for baseball game Dorabase, which debuted at the number nine spot with 96k, selling 90% of it's total stock.Hardware:

I remember seeing some reports a few months back that said Wii might be losing its lead over the PS3 because sales had been trending 7-to-1, 6-to-1, down to 2-to-1 or below. But over the past few weeks, the trend has been increasing again and Wii is back at more than 5-to-1 over PS3, which is good to see.
DS over PSP at nearly 2-to-1 is cool too.
