Those of you who keep current with
The premise of Hizashi no Naka no Riaru is simple -- you molest the daughter of your mother's friend, an underaged girl whom you're charged with babysitting. The game eventually allows you to even have sex with her, but this simple demo release doesn't include anything past second base yet. So far, players can only move around the victim's legs and fondle her using the touchscreen. Hitting R cycles through three different scenes, all of which show the girl asleep and unable to fight off your guilty, lecherous hands.
At its current state, the homemade project doesn't feature anything more sinister than what you'd find in the commercially released Doki Doki Majo Shinpan. That statement won't stay true for long, however, if the programmer decides to continue working on the port. If you'd rather not have any traces of the ROM on your hard drive for when the police kick down your door and comb through everything for incriminating evidence, you can check out the gallery below for a few screenshots from the limited demo. As with the game, the images are NSFW.

It's not the industry... it's homebrew. not saying it's great, just saying that it has nothing to do with the gaming industry, as in the retail industry.

Because Fox would have to do some kind of research to get here?

mj... it clearly doesn't matter if it is endorsed or true. It is ammo and they will use it to scare the "american public" into submission.

It won't let me reply to your page on the last page, so I'm replying here. The point you're not getting in your enormous rant about Fox and other anti-gaming idiots grabbing ahold of this is that you're worried about them spreading propaganda to censor us....but inevitably, if people don't post things like this in the first place because they're afraid of Jack Thompson, Fox, whoever, we're CENSORING OURSELVES and THEY STILL WIN.
Censorship is censorship, whether self imposed or not. Which makes your statement pretty much self-defeating.

I gotta agree with the other people - This isn't what I expect to see on a blog such as this. It's a loli-focused h-game FFS.
I don't think a generally all-ages blog should be catering to the /cake/ demographic.

Eric,
Don't be discouraged. Some of us are happy to receive the best FREE & UNCENSORED content on the DS that is currently available on the internet.
I am constantly amazed at the number of stories that link to websites that I have never heard of. I bookmarked some site, thanks to DS Fanboy.
For all of the offended parties in the comments ... WTF??? It says NSFW ... if you don't want to be offended, than use your brain and DON'T follow the link. If you're so offended, start your own blog/site (or pay his salary)... seriously. You're not paying him, so give him a break. Also, if God gave Adam the choice of picking the apple, because freedom of choice was so IMPORTANT, what gives you the audacity to impose your asthetics on others???
Maybe try to say "thank you" to DS Fanboy every once in a while for scouring the internet for interesting/amusing stories, instead of slamming them.
Keep us the good work DS Fanboy. :)
I am looking forward to ALL DS related content (but especially Kingdom Hearts 358/2, It's a Wonderful World, etc.).
Peace.

#1 - I completely agree with everything you said and I don't think I can add anything to it, really. Everyone is throwing such a fit about Fox spreading negative gaming news and is worried about gamers being censored....so what, we censor ourselves to prevent future censorship? Kind of defeats the point of freedom of choice and expression, no?
#2 - Your panda icon rocks.
#3 - Add 1+2 = you're awesome.

I'm so glad that I have the amazing ability to not read news which doesn't interest me but might interest others. I don't have to worry about the website's authors trying to make moral decisions about what information I might be made aware of because I know how to operate the scrollbar on my browser.

My point isn't being offended. It's about this being used as ammo by the media trolls that drop by sites like this, looking for snippets of gaming news to use as ammo to scare people, make them money or effectively sue innocent people. We already know this type of stuff is going on, why inform our moronic fellow man when he is just going to use it against us?

Let them do what they want. This is a homebrew game anyhoo. Its not like walmart is going to be selling it any time soon. And obviously it wont be easy access to children as getting an r4 to work requires at least SOME brain use.
I'm glad blog sites like this don't censor themselves in fear of hypocritical news icons. The moment they do, the "man" has won his war. On to the next scandal thanks.

Thanks Matdredalia.
I think you're awesome too. :)
BTW, you're icon is cool as well.
Here is the story behind the panda icon.
Someone posted that they had just received a stuffed panda from a friend who visited China. He/she surrounded the panda with red cloth to match Hikaru Utada's Ultra Blue album cover, then took 2 photos.
Here is Hikaru Utada's Ultra Blue album cover:

i would give credit to the original author, but I think the forums no longer exist (I couldn't find it on Google either).
Peace.

I dunno if anyone cares or not, but the main character in this is presented as being about the same age she is. It's one of those "kids experimenting with sex" stories and not "older guy molesting little girl" stories. Personally I found it did a really good job of recreating the feel of being a nervous, excited kid again, "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M REALLY TOUCHING A GIRL" kind of thing.
This probably isn't the best website to talk about porn games in detail on, though, lol
For those looking to buy a legit copy, the official English download sale site is eng.dlsite.com; I'll refrain from posting a direct link here, but just search for "hizashi" on there and you'll find it. There's the main game + an expansion pack called "complement." Runs on Windows and Mac. (Note that while it does have an English sale page, the game is in Japanese.)

Just to clarify: I see a big difference between "NSFW" and "underage sexual assault." I don't avoid clicking on NSFW links because I work at home and am not automatically offended by adult content. Loli games are a whole different thing, though. As I said, I don't mind the reporting on this because it's out there and it's part of DS culture (unfortunately). But I thought that the extra gallery of images crossed the line into promotion. (Really, one image was enough to get the whole idea across, right?) Anyway, that's all I have to say on the topic.

I can understand the blanket statements of "you don't have to look" or "You know it said NSFW", but I still find a piece like this unsettling, to say the least. The whole thing kind of reeks of bad taste, from the last sentence before the jump (read on!), to the gallery of images and the link to other "naughtiness".
Perhaps it can be delivered as news, or as a "development" in the homebrew scene, but in the end its a game about molesting a little girl. I don't think there's anything to be gained by posting this.
My two and a half cents.

There's a difference between fact and fiction. You scream in disgust at this game, but you'll happily maim and kill "people" in others.
It's. Not. Real.
I sense a lot of pots calling a kettle black here.
