WRUP: Hardly Days of Ruin edition

Seriously, who's day is ruined by a copy of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin? Not ours, and it hasn't been since we first picked up the game, spending day after day in-game, moving troops and capturing buildings. It's been a pleasure so far, both through Wi-Fi and alone.

And, we know most of you feel the same. Or, are you gearing up to snag a copy of the game this weekend? If you aren't playing this, what else are you playing?

Not a lot of time, probably some of the minigames on Super Mario 64 DS.

I've been playing it for 3 days straight...good stuff, like the characters better than the first, even if Will looks like a pretty boy.

Where there's life, there are war tanks?

I have to admit, that as a long-time AW fan, I'm glad they cut all the clutter. Most battles were won and lost in picking a CO and their abilities in AW DS. While I'll admit it added extra elements of strategy, the new games keeps the focus on the battles themselves, and the AI is the smartest and most conservative yet. It's very challenging, and it takes a lot to lure the computer into your indirects.

Love this game!

Since I enjoy playing old, cheap games that are new to me, I will be playing Mega Man Battle Network 3.
Don't worry Mega Man. Even if your number of titles are approaching infinity faster than any other franchise, I still love you.

Since the last Advance Wars game I played was Black Hole Rising, I have to say that the AI in this one is completely destroying me. I very nearly beat one of the missions when they managed to completely wreck my Md. Tank and Bomber line with a few well-place Anti-Airs and Anti-Tanks. I hate those things!

Haha, man, I'm able to get S ranking and A ranking fairly easily...however, the side missions are HARD. I'm terrible at them...

I will beat everything with an S rank, even if it kills me.
