There might not be any big butts in these latest Luminous Arc 2: Will screens (posted in the gallery below), but they're still worth looking at. In case you didn't notice from previous screens, the art style is similar to the first game, but with a much more attractive interface and menu system this time. Hopefully that means the developers have fixed some of the more frustrating aspects of the first game, but then again, if this doesn't end up localized, we suppose we have nothing to worry about. After spending some time with the original Luminous Arc, though, we're hoping that we do see this game on our shores eventually.But, are there already too many SRPGs bound for the DS for you to hope for localization on this one? Or, would you like to see Luminous Arc 2 reach English-speaking and other markets at some point?
The official website was also updated with some wallpapers and videos, so fans of the series should head on over there and check it out. As for those of you who can read Japanese, you might be interested to know that this game is set to release on May 15th.

It might not have the complexity or smoothness of some bigger titles, but the story was entertaining and it has likable characters like none other.
I'd be horribly disappointed to see this go unlocalized and instead end up with yet ANOTHER stupid port of Disgaea. I can't even believe you guys would be for version -three- of any title instead of a completely new game.

Woah there, buddy, you're preaching to the choir :D. Did you see the title of the post? Did you finish reading beyond that sentence, or did you just stop there?
Putting the sentence you pulled out into context, I only meant that if the game isn't localized, it won't matter to us if it has improved over the first because we'll never get to play it.
We also never said that we were more for a Disgaea remake than LA2, but the fact is that Disgaea *is* being localized, while LA2 *isn't* (at least, for now). Maybe you've seen or perceived more Disgaea hype on DSF than Luminous Arc hype, but it's easier to be excited about a game you know you're getting, yeah?
Anyway, we're totally with you! A Luminous Arc 2 localization? Yes please :).

Well now that's resolved...i kinda of like the somewhat variety we'll be getting with the srpgs it's nice to have some choice but ill be waiting for this game since i liked the first one, what really won we over was the characters like kia mentioned, they're likeable and hoping for some similar characters in the sequel and that it makes it stateside.
