Overall I thought that Nintendo's conference was a let-down for gamers...but it is also quite evident that gamers aren't the focus anymore when it comes to videogames. The casual market has taken a firm hold upon my beloved past-time, and with the year(s) ahead the amount of shovelware and non-serious games will be overflowing on the shelves (as if they aren't already).
The "big 3" that they decided to show weren't big at all...they were a disgrace to even show! The only saving grace of Nintendo's show was Animal Crossing.
I'm glad that we still have faithful companies like Atlus and Sega making/publishing "quiet" games that us old school players can enjoy, along with the ports and remakes of old games from Square. Capcom and Konami, once busting at the seams with quality releases haven't given us a game worth playing for years now (Nintendo systems anyways), its sad to see how far they've fallen away.
