The game should be releasing this fall (in the UK, at least), and centers around a rookie detective. He (and therefore, you,) must figure out the circumstances behind the disappearance of aspiring model Betty Blake. The game will focus on the one overarching storyline, but will include other mysteries for you to solve as well (à la Hotel Dusk). In fact, the press release boasts that there are eight different cases to solve.
Also like Hotel Dusk, you'll have to pay close attention to detail so that you can answer questions later (in addition to point-and-click adventure gaming and action-packed shootouts). Check out the new screens in the gallery below for more of an idea of what to expect.

This looks really cool.
It's too bad that converting CAD to EUR/GBP renders importing games impossible (well, it is possible, but I'm not paying 60$ CAD for a single game).

do they really charge 30 euro/pounds for games that normally sell at 30 US? If they do, wow, I feel sorry for the european gamers, they are really being riped off. At least here in Canada the newer games are being priced right (Trauma Center 2 is priced at US price of 29.99 & FF IV is priced at 39.99, also the same price as in the US). Too bad the games prior to the drop of the US dollar are staying at their normal rate (New Super Mario Bros. I am looking at you).

Yeah, but the wages are probably such that 30 pounds is basically 30 bucks.
I do know that in Australia games are balls expensive, though. I don't know why that is.

After how hard Trace Memory and Insecticide failed at this, I'm leery of another new, untested publisher.

what was wrong with Trace Memory? it was a good adventure (point and click) game. Sure it was short, but it was still good.

It was weak on a comprehensible story and memorable characters. The puzzles were good, but it had nothing to compel me beyond that. The entire plot was incoherent and poorly put together, with no sensible explanation at the end.
