Sure enough, we informed you last week that we would be taking this week's Game Night off because of the holiday. And, we put up the poll for determining this upcoming session's game. We just wanted to remind all of you who might have missed it by including that same poll below. So, vote for next week's game and we'll see you Thursday night!
Even with some of us being very late (see: the author of this post), we still managed to get our game on. Races were had in Mario Kart DS and we tasted the utterly horrible, yet very familiar, taste of defeat. Oh well, there is always next week to reclaim our honor as kinda OK at games.
Oh, wait, next week is Thanksgiving! Sorry, but we'll have to wait until the following week before getting back to Game Night. It's a holiday and we'll be busy taking various naps fueled by our bellies full of turkey.
So, enjoy the holiday and we'll see you guys at Game Night on November 29th!
Thank goodness it's Thursday, because we need our weekly gaming fix. We need to get our game on bad. And, hopefully, you do to. So, head past the break for the deets and prepare yourself to meet with us this evening for some DS action.
Last night was special. We hope it was as good for you as it was for us. You're going to call us, right? Right? Well, in the interest of making engagements, we've gone ahead and added a hot new game to the poll list below, resetting the poll itself. So, let's see if this new game can beat other fan favorites ...
In just a few hours, a battle of epic proportions will be waged across the world, across DS units. There will be winners and there will be losers. It's just a fact of life that some must win and some must die. Go on into the post to see your weapon of choice.
Oh man, we've been chomping our fingernails down to the bone waiting for tonight. The feeling of conquest and defeat, the act of competition, just to feel alive. Game Night is always a treat and with this week being more tiring than those of recent memory, we need the break.
Yesterday evening was the kind of magical event that occurs when two loving people attend a nice restaurant and one of those individuals gets down on one knee, presents a ring and proposes marriage. We felt the love. We also threw down in some Metroid Prime Hunters and Tetris DS. Seriously, it was a Game Night to remember.
Let's make sure next week is even better! Vote below and rope a friend into attending. We, as well as you, know it won't be a disappointment for them.
Last week we didn't have that good of a showing as far as Game Nights are concerned. This week, though, we want to fix that. So, if you are planning on ditching tonight's Game Night, know this: we will find you. We will emerge from a bush or a dark closet within your close vicinity and ask you why you didn't show up.
Sadly, I was unable to partake in the festivities last night. No worries, we've been doing this Game Night thing for quite awhile now. So, you can bet next week I'll be there, with several bells on. In the meantime, why don't we figure out what our theme game for next week will be by voting below.
This week has been a close race in determining what our theme game will be for tonight. And, if you're a regular here at Game Night, you're likely already forming a picture of what games are running at the top of the pack. So, let's not waste time. Head past the break and get all of the details you need.
Last night's Game Night was kind of a bust, we must admit. There wasn't that great a turnout and connection problems plagued the participants. But, hey, that's life; we can't control everything. But, there's always next week to look forward to. And, it's also time to reset the poll, so let's get to it!
Sound the trumpets, for it is the time of celebration. With it being Thursday and all, we've got conquest on our mind. We're sure you are thinking the same, as you walk through today in a mindless trance. Your thoughts are elsewhere, focused on a single goal: trashing the competition at Game Night.
Even though it is Friday and a cause for celebration, a part of us still weeps for the passing of Game Night. For an hour, it made us feel alive and now we have to return back to our mundane lives, the thought of conquest during Game Night still fresh on our mind. Oh well, there's always next week.
As the work week nears its end, Game Night presents itself. Like a small rodent ducking its head out from a hole in the ground, it quickly scans the surrounding landscape for predators. Oh, but it doesn't know about us, as we spring from behind it, grip it and wrestle it to the ground. We have conquered the beast and now prepare for Game Night!
Last night's session was, again, hindered by Nintendo's servers. For some reason, everyone reported lag across the board. That isn't to say we weren't able to get our game on, though. Oh well, can't win 'em all, eh?
Hit up the poll to vote for next week's theme game and we'll see you there!
