Enamel Navy and Ice Blue Lites on display

Lik-Sang and you've just had to tell your loyal customers that not only may they have to wait until April before they receive their DS Lites, but that they're going to have to pay an extra $30 in order to get them. Naturally, the best strategy you could think to employ would be to post glorious and tantalizing photographs of the product in question on your website and in doing so, incite violent riots and angry rantings on internet message boards.

NICE. The blue looks really good. Though, I wonder why they don't just release a BLACK one?? It's like from afar you think it's black, but then realize it's not..Kinda odd.

Lik-Sang can lick me. I pre-ordered in January and they have the nerve to give everyone some lame lesson in econ about supply and demand. They've lost my business for good. Too bad they'll still make a killing selling their DS Lites.

I really think that photos won't do these (especially the Ice Blue) justice, because the gloss doesn't show up near enough. Look at pictures of white PSPs- they don't look as glossy in photo as they do in real life. The Enamel Navy really does look nice though!

Ice Blue is a bit crap? Why? Sure, I personally think it's rather ugly, just because that color isn't my style, but i'm sure lots of people would like it, my wife included.

Because, you know, getting it for $30 more (Lik-Sang) is better than not getting it at all (Play-Asia, NCS).

It's not nearly as pretty as my Ice Blue gameboy pocket from way back in the day. It's more of a girl color I guess...

I went out yesterday in Tokyo looking for an Enamel Navy one, but I couldn't find any color. Most stores had a sign saying "DS Lite sold out" on their front doors.
I really think this going to be a slow release.

Has anyone else had hands-on experience with a DS Lite yet? I was messin around a bit with one of the lite blue versions at BicCamera the other day in Ikebukuro and imo it feels really plasticky and cheap. Granted, it is smaller and lighter, but it seems really really cheaply made. The "phat" DS feels alot more stable and durable that the Lites imo. Am I the only one who feels this way? Even when the Lites are in stock here in Japan, I'll be stickin with the "phat", but maybe thats just me...
