One of the requirements for being a part of the DS Fanboy staff is an undying, borderline obsessive, love for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. There's just no dancing around it; if you've failed to play it then you're fired. As such, our previously stated love for Phoenix and his immaculate "lawyerin' skillz" causes many of the staff to often wake in the middle of the night, covered in cold sweat, screaming out for our hero.As such, you can imagine we've been pretty excited for the latest installment, not only so that we may defend the innocent from an almost certain doom in the courtroom, but also so that we may scream "hold it" again in public without looking like total basket cases (people just don't get it if you aren't holding a DS). So, like they say, when in Rome do as the Romans do and join us in quietly, and quite disturbingly, fondling our monitors over these new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All screenshots.

You sure you don't look like a basket case?
You sure people understand it when you have a DS in your hands?

I'm glad there's a sequel to Phoenix Wright. Maybe, just maybe it won't sell out as soon as they are put on the shelf (and if you think I'm joking, try shopping for games where I shop).

I've started playing the original Phoenix Wright. I've played through four cases and frankly I'm not impressed. 90% of the game is just reading. I don't have the attention span for that. Only 10% of the game requires you to actually DO anything. And even that part requires you to do things in a very specific order. It becomes a game of "what does the game think I should do next" instead of a compelling crime solver. I wont be picking up the sequel.

If it weren't for Phoenix Wright, I would've sold my DS a long time ago. It's the only DS title I found that was awesome and satisfying to me. It certainly beats out all of Nintendo's other ADD short attention span junk. Can't wait for the sequel.

Bodie, thank you, that pretty much sums up exactly how I felt about this game. Everyone raved about it and it seemed obscure and quirky enough to me, but you just sit there clicking through seemingly-endless (and not particularly entertaining) conversations, and that's about it. Even when you do get to do something, it's frighteningly linear and basic.
Compared to adventure games from the olden days, such as Day of the Tentacle, and it just doesn't hold up at all. I don't see what everyone else is seeing in Phoenix Wright.

Ahhh, I can't wait. Phoenix Wright is one of the best games I've ever played: the dialog and story were just freaking fun, interesting, and hilarious. Piecing together the court cases and finding out what actually happened through all the twists and turns is wonderfully satisfying, as well.

Aye, this is one of the only games that I really really enjoyed on my DS.
I can't wait for the sequel for it, I'm gonna trade in Animal Crossing, Nintendogs and Brain Age so I don't lose a cent on this sequel. :D
It'll give me a reason to pick up my DS again.

People who claim to never use their DS on a DS Fanboy site..But to be fair, I've seen alot of that on the PSP Fanboy site, too. I hope this isn't the foreshadowing of some sort of cross-blog Fanboy war. :
