As if the current Sonic game available on the DS isn't enough, you can now look to the homebrew community for some ring-gathering, side-scrolling action. In the alpha build of his project SonicDS, coder Bonic's first game looks to bring the speedster's style and addicting action of old to the handheld. The current build is a very early version of the game and has many bugs, so be warned.

Is it just me, or would i pay a buttload of money for a DS game that went hella vintage and simply compiled all the old sonic games on it? Sonic Rush had nothing on any of the old sega genesis games, and if you add the portability of the DS to the mix you get hours, nay, days on end of fun.

@2: NO. There are way too many quick-buck compilations out on the market. It's annoying.

I hate people who are down on Sonic Rush. Sonic Rush is the best sonic game ever to come out.

i don't care if compilations are annoying - sonic is not. and sonic rush was fun, but not great - the controls were simply too awkward and the maps too hard to find extra passagways on.
