Borrowing an idea from our good friends over at Xbox 360 Fanboy, we've decided to make a regular Friday feature of asking you guys how you're getting your game on over the weekend. What are you playing? Could it be a new release such as Magical Starsign? Are you instead visiting an older title you have yet to complete or even free from the confines of its shrink wrap?
Personally, we just took advantage of the sweet Toys R Us deal and await our copies of Electroplankton and Star Fox: Command, so until they arrive we are without a new game to rock our DS Lite with. Maybe we'll hop onto Wi-Fi Connect and play a little Metroid Prime Hunters.

Finally got my Contact for the DS. This game keeps luring me back. During the time I'm not playing, I wish I were.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Go ahead and laugh, but I am rediscovering it from way way back when I first got my GBA. Also, it passes the time until FF3 and Guitar Hero 2 come next month.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan
I decided to give it a shot and it has become one of my favorite DS games. It's been a disappointing summer in terms of games go. Mario vs Donkykong 2, Clubhouse games, Cooking Mama. These were games that I eagerly awaited when I finally got to play them I was disappointed. I'm not saying these games are bad they just didn't pull me in like other DS games have (Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright, Animal Crossing... Star Fox was fun but very short. Anyway, I downloaded a demo of Elite Beat Agents when waiting to pre-order my Wii. I thought it was cool and decided to try Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan . I'm totally in love. I was really struggling waiting for the Wii & FF3, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it without something to lift me out of the funk. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan did that. If any of you haven't played this game get it. Trust me I hate the Dance Dance Revolution type games with a passion, which is why I stayed away from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan for so long. I couldn't believe what I was missing out on. The music, the stories, the game play. I easily give it a 10. It pretty much flawless. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant. Mahalla

I'll be playing Animal Crossing (it never gets old), maybe some Mario Kart online, and a few rounds of Wifi Metroid. (even thought I suck at it) :)

Clubhouse Games, over and over again. But how come I can never get on a worldwide WFC game? One in ten times I'll find an opponent. Are not enough people playing?

I'm playing some more Mario Kart (I can NEVER get tired of this game) as I wait for my Toys R us purchases of Star Fox Command and Club House games to arrive.
With all due respect,

Touch Detective should get here today (yay!) so I'm going to be buried in that. And the man and I have been competing in Brain Age again randomly. Not because we feel our brains need the exercise, but just because it opens some nice trash-talking avenues.
