One game, two very different videos -- that's what we're looking at in this week's video spotlight. Lunar Knights has had a great run of ads, and thanks to a Konami fan site's trailer contest, there are all new takes on the game. It's interesting to look at the impact music can have on a story. We've seen the footage in this trailer in other videos, but now the music is more dramatic, and it shapes a wholly different story. Lunar Knights has always come across as a little campy, but now those same images are painted with a more melancholy brush. We offer this (actual) trailer for comparison to the fan-made trailer after the jump.Friday video: Compare and contrast

This fan-made trailer does bring a better mood than the actual one. Still not quite sold on it.

The Kojima logo at the beginning should be enough to sell you on it. It's very good, though I think the art on the cover is what they used in-game

The fan trailer better explains the mood of the overall game (Kinda), but either way I don't find it as good as the Boktais before it.

This is a great trailer, and really tones down the annoying generic-kiddy-anime tone that most of the official media reeks of.
Although, I remember a time when trailers would show in game footage rather than a collage of all the cut scenes :P
