Namco Bandai has announced today that they plan on bringing a new title to the DS this Summer. With a title like
Namco Museum DS, we wonder what it could include? Lucky for us, we have a press release that spells it all out. This game is to feature 8 different titles from Namco's past. These titles, which are their best-sellers (natch), include:
- Pac-Man
- Pac-Man Vs.
- Galaga
- Xevious
- Dig Dug II
- Galaxian
- Mappy
- Tower of Druaga
Namco Museum DS will retail for $19.99 when it hits retail shelves this Summer.

Pac-Man Vs.? I can only hope they mean a ds version of the gamecube title. That game would be great in wireless handheld form!

Do these games even sell? There has been a Namco Arcade on every system I can think of and they are all the same. That said, I will have to buy this because Pacman Vs. is the best game featuring Pacman since he experimented with cross dressing in Ms. Pacman.

I don't know if you noticed this, but I totally called this one two weeks ago to the day:

I'm still stunned:

No Ms.Pac-Man? That's seems odd. It's been part of their previous collections.
And yes, these do sell to suckers like me. I pretty much grew up in arcades so these are like old friends. I have the Namco collection for Dreamcast, PS2, and GBA. I also have one of those self-contain controller games that connects directly to your TV that plays these Nacmo games too. Not sure if I'll get this since I can play the GBA version on the DS. I also just bought the Konami classics collection that was just released.
And yes, I have MAME too for my PC.
