On their breaks from being crammed into containers and trained to fight each other, Pokemon are doing all kinds of stuff. Are you? Do you go in for these spinoffs? This question is directed at people who like the series, obviously-- if you think Pokemon is, in general, beneath you, then we know how you feel about the extensions to the franchise.

What Pokemon needs is a game where the battles are real-time action oriented.
I have Pokemon TCGGB, Puzzle League (mainly because I've got every other Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack game), and Snap.

Snap is incredible. I wish they would make a sequel for Wii. Imagine photographing games on Wii.

Pokemon Ranger's "battles" are real time and sort of action oriented. But Pokemon Ranger is only half as cool as the regular games.

I would like a Team Rocket game("Team Rocket: Worst to First!") where you have to defeat the other "team" gangs from the Pokemon Universe, and you get extra points for doing dirty tricks to bad gym bosses, etc. There could be some minigames for taking odd jobs to get capitol to build your doofy pokemon based giant robot.
And whether or not you can pick Musashi/Jesse or Kojiro/James or non specific m/f Rocketeer as the player characters, it's gotta have Nyasu/Meowth. I don't care that he's normal type and his skills are no good and he might drag your team down while you level him up.
I love his bad catitude. The fatboy stays.

In Endless Ocean, there is photography!!!
But yeah, I would love to see a sequel to Snap, Ranger, and another Pokémon Pinball game for DS (as I love Pinball)
Those are my 3 favorite spin-off games by far!

I'd like to see a Pokemon Snap sequel for the ds as well. It'd be nice to plan your own routes on the touch screen and then use the right shoulder button as the shutter button.

Loved Pokemon Snap, I shiver with delight to think what would happen now with the wiimote if there is a remake, I actually spent money on "Hey You Pikachu" not because I was deluded into dreaming of my own voice activated pika-slave but just because... wait why DID I buy that one?
Pokemon Pinball... I'll just say my top score is just over Five Billion points.
Any way I've bought lots of the Pokemon spin offs and I'm not ashamed of that my only shame is that some were even made( I'm looking at you Trozi and Dash)

Yeah, I own them all too. The existence of things with Pokemon in them makes me happy, so keep em coming! Snap was awesome, and Puzzle League has some really nice art that makes use of the license without mucking up the gameplay (played on my Pikachu N64 of course!). I defend my ownership of Hey You Pikachu on cost (cost $4 new) though I haven't opened it yet, but frankly I'm tempted to sell Pokemon Dash. I think it's actually negative fun (negates some of the fun you had earlier in the day), and the difficulty curve is ridiculous -- first it's "aimed at brain dead 4-year-olds", next race it's "how the hell am I in last place??".

I absolutely love the 'real' Pokemon game, but I despise all Pokemon spin-offs, except Pokemon Trading Card game for Game Boy.
