When thinking back to that moment when Reggie pulled the GBA Micro out of his pocket at E3, the only feeling that could come close to what we were feeling then is if we were repeatedly punched in the crotch. And while some find the Micro to be a wonderful little gadget, we think those folks are crazy. Looney Tunes crazy.Numbers don't lie, however, as even with 2.5 million units sold, it's still one of the top ten worst-selling handhelds. It probably has something to do with the fact that squinting at its tiny screen for mere minutes causes incredible headaches in the player (based on our own experience).

Woah, Reggie has put on the pounds since then.
He needs to get on the WiiFit.

The Micro is by far the best GBA there is, small compact and an the best GBA screen so far. I have one and I dont get a headache using it, and I use it alot.

Nintendo was only targeting it at a smaller population of about 15% anyway I think, so it's not too bad.
It was there as an alternative, besides, the DS was out and most people already had a GBA/SP.

I can't believe Taco I mean N-Gage beat GBM by 50k. At least Virtual Boy would have been #5 on handheld but that would bump off Game Gear.
Reggie looks thinner in that picture just because of how small GBM is.

I have a game.com and while I don't play it anymore it was quite a bit of fun at the time. I wish Nintendo had taken a couple ideas from it actually, like built in solitaire and a calandar function.

I love the Micro like a miner loves gold, baby. Everything on that screen looks great to me, and it's really the only system that you can't even TELL is in your shirt pocket. I've welded my copy of "Rebelstar: Tactical Command" into the unit, anyway, so it's really more of a "Rebelstar: Tactical Command MICRO" than a GBA MICRO.

The GBM is hands down the best incarnation of the system. I loved the SP while I had it, but the GBM is just a step up in every way. Great screen, great battery, and amazing portability. It's not for everyone, I guess, but it's about perfect for me.

I must say, the Micro might have sold badly but it's a very underrated console. The micro is a true portable system.

Portable? Yes.
Comfortable? No, at least not in my large hands anyway.
I still haven't figured out the target demo for that thing.

I love the Micro so much that I own two of them. Final Fantasy VI, Riviera, Summon Knight 2, Super Robot Taisen. Yes. ^__^

Neo Geo Pocket Color: Way ahead of the game!
That was a fun one, but i think the Micro came too late in the GBA lifespan to make a difference

LMAO... those were piles of crap I still have two not opened b/c I won it at those $1 block piling games. I think I should sell it on craigslist. I bought a GBA and that was a waste of money and so I waited ... waited and waited... then NDS came out but no.. I will wait...... then NDSLite came out and my prayers were answered. Black NDS with my Gold PSP what more can you ask for.

I have a Micro :) I thought it was silly when it first came out, because I was one of those people who upgraded the original GBA to an SP. Then I got a DS... I was not going to get a 4th device that played GBA games!!! Oh...and I got a DS Lite after the Micro came out, so that made four devices anyway, lol.
But then Gamespot did a price drop to $50, and after seeing my boyfriend so happy with his Micro, $50 suddenly became the perfect price for the tiny handheld. I love it! I actually wish they would've skipped the SP and done this. It's the best GBA, in my opinion. I think it failed because it was too expensive and came out too late.

Yeah, imho they have always seemed like an awesome GBA, but then the DS had just come out and of course some people prefered to get the new system instead of same old. Still very good for being a GBA.
I doubt it sold low because it sucked as much as because GBA was starting to die (in console sales, not games ..)
Must have been a very small investment for Nintendo to make it anyway so I doubt they care, a few people bought yet another GBA, good for them ;D

I just didn't like the small screen.
My eyes are too old I guess, and my DS Lite is fine for that stuff anyway.
