No wonder we've been seeing so much on Archaic Sealed Heat in the magazines lately -- it's scheduled for release in Japan in early October. They must have been working overtime at Mistwalker, because this is no cobbled-together piece of work ... ASH looks like it could end up being one of the most amazing games we've seen on the DS to date. And now, it seems very likely that we'll be seeing a lot more in the coming months. Let's hope for some proper screenshots and a video or three!

I kind of want to see it in motion. Sure still shots look nice, but...
I also want to know how it's making up for the low amount of space of the card. Are we looking at a typical small-map set strategy RPG? Because those get dull very quickly.

According to a rival gaming site [no names listed], ASH will be the "first ever 2GB DS ROM."
I'm thinking that they've been working for a very long time on this cart for a good reason, and I personally can't wait to see its first game trailer.

2Gbit is still only 256MB. Only about a third of what one CD can hold. This game is loaded with prerendered artwork there's very little likelihood they can make something worthwhile with even as much as 512MB let alone 256 or 128. Maybe I'm wrong, but history leans toward my prediction.
