We were right.
But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Nintendo's non-game game is designed to present the user with quick bursts of puzzles, aimed at the ultimate goal of making you a mentally fit human being. More so than when you went into the title. Does it really do that? Well, we're sure we'd need a lab of resources much too large for our damp dungeon of an office.

The first screen the game will present to you.
Daily Training begins by asking you to confirm some of your settings, then it jumps into testing your Brain Age. The first test is an audio challenge, asking you to yell out "rock," "paper" or "scissors" to either win or lose against the CPU. Here we encountered our first issue with the game: it can't recognize "scissors" with any kind of consistency. It's the blue fiasco all over again.

Get ready to see this screen many, many times.

Ouch. It has been awhile since I played the first game.

The game has some chuckle-worthy moments, if you have the humor of a child (we do!).
So, if more brain training is what you're looking for, then Brain Age 2 is the title for you. As far as furthering the franchise, it doesn't do much to push the boundaries, instead satisfying for more of the same. Given its price and purpose, though, Brain Age 2 does what you'd expect and want it to.
Final Score: 8/10

I had no problem with it recognizing speech at all. It hates my fives, however. Not too fond of my fours, either. I just got it yesterday, and I'm sad that my brain is 42 years old. I might as well give up and die now.

My sister's been pestering me for a Brain Age after Academy made her feel wanting for more. And last I heard she's enjoying EBA especially the songs I hate like Sk8er Boi. I'll get this to satisfy her. And MP3:C for me while I'm at it.

The Dr Mario game on here is awesome, believe me.
It's called germ buster on here, you can control 3 pills at once as they fall and even move the little bits that break off after combos.

I completely agree with your review. It doesn't offer a different experience from the first title but I still love it. I'm trying to get under a 4 min 30 sec. sodoku puzzle though. It is tougher than you think. And why doesn't it understand my scissor response?

I don't have any problem with it recognizing "scissors" with me. It does sometimes think my 2's are 1's, though. >_<
And yes, the Virus Buster (aka Dr. Mario) mini-game is quite fun. I almost got a thousand points on easy mode, but I lost out at 998 points.
