Although I played the hell out of FFTA, it was not nearly (not even close) as good as the original FFT. I was hoping for a return to form for the next iteration but it looks to be not the case. This series is in serious danger of running out of the supreme amount of goodwill that the original garnered and turning into just another dumb Final Fantasy spinoff.

Oh man, I am so excited about FFTA2 I can hardly stand it. I can also barely stand the cuteness of that Chocobo Knight.

I put $5 down on a pre-order yesterday, first time I ever bothered to preorder a game. Can't wait for the 25th. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but FFTA's Job system was my favorite in ANY FF game. I actually played through FFTA recently again because my g/f got me into RO (Ragnarok Online), and I remembered how awesome FFTA's Job system was.
As for the new jobs... Wow, they got lazy with the costume design for the Seers. It looks like an FF III White Mage's costume.

Whoops... I meant to say that they looked like the FF III Devouts (The better version of the white mage).
