Please, take your fingers and cross them. We have a plan, a
most dangerous of ideas: we're going to go out into the world and
purchase a video game. In case you were wondering, we're going to snag ourself a copy of
Sonic Rush Adventure. Looking at this week's
releases, it's the only title that appeals to us.
What about you, fine reader? Will you be picking up a new game to play this weekend, or will it be something else? What are you playing?

Just recently got Hoshigami Remix, and let me tell ya, it's not bad at all. Only those who are hardcore into strategy games should get it, though. Others would just get frustrated, but me, I love it. Planning to save some moneys up for a DS lite since I needs me a top screen... especially since I can barely kick ass anymore on MP:H
T_T
Also, cannot wait for Disgaea DS, if it at all ever happens. That is definitely a 5 month pre-order from me, there, har har har.

I picked up Rune Factory earlier this week, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. Can't wait to, though!

Yeah I just picked it up this week. It's just like Rush except the 'Adventure' comes in looking for hidden levels, looking for chaos emerald races, using the different water crafts, and repeating levels to gain items. Yeah that's actually kind weird and lame. You used to only repeat levels to get the best time. Now it's to earn more materials for the 'Adventure' portion of the game.
Still a lot of fun and some of these bosses so far are the best ever in ANY Sonic game. That Pirate and Steam boss are just too freaking cool to fight.

I have Sonic Rush Adventure, and let me tell you, I f**king LOVE it. I really don't know what went up the reviewer's asses when they complain about the vehicles, but I think they are incredibly fun. They tried to do something different, and it works. For me at least! Just goes to show you that the only opinion you can trust is your own.
Gonna be playing this for a while. *w*

Is Sonic Rush Adventure better than the original Sonic Rush?

I finally beat Puzzle Quest last night, so now I'll be looking for something new. I have wonderful memories of Sonic 2 as it was the only game I ever owned for the Genesis. I will definitely be playing SRA.

To answer is it better than Rush? Oh hell yes.
All the levels are fun now and the special gimmicks are back too and are even more fun to play.
The bosses are seriously the best ever (so far, I've only faced 4 of them) in Sonic history. One has you going inside the boss, another roams around freely like a giant enemy, and another shatters the ground!
Oh and the water craft portions are fun too. F Johnny the Pirate though.

I liked the old sonics, with their super BLAST PROCESSING! That "hold dpad right and go go go!" thing was okay back in the day, but after playing through Sonic Rush where you just run (and sometimes fall in a pit unless you have the reaction time of a drag racer) , I can't see this game being any better. Sonic just can't spice up his gameplay as easy as the plumber can. Where's New Super Mario World?
