Due to release later this month, we can't wait for Nintendo's franchise to hit the DS. We're like incredibly crazy right now, anticipating this stress-reliever like we would anticipate a cure for some kind of deadly disease. We need some Mario Party DS in our lives and we care not who knows. Are you guys as anxious as we are? If so, hit up our gallery below for some fresh screens, which number in the ridiculous. If not, well ... we aren't BFF anymore.

You know what I like best about Nintendo? You can buy a game from them without any research beforehand and be pretty much guaranteed to get a well-made game. You're not guaranteed to like everything about it (though there is a strong possibility you will), but you won't feel ripped off. Any poor outings (Warioware Touched didn't do so hot, as I recall) are only exceptions that prove the rule.
This looks like fun, and since it's by Nintendo, I guess I can safely say, This will be fun. I can dig it.

Wow there were quite a few Mario party posts but this really has got me interested can't wait for it!
and Xian your right i think the best example is Mario striker on the Gamecube, there wasn't too much interest in it but Nintendo still made a fantastic game of it, i was the only one out my friends who bought it, then we played it together and i was blown away so were my mates so then they all got it too. i would say its on par with Mario Kart. Obviously its a different game but yeh its great!

Oh man, I just looked at the description on Metacritic (supplied by Nintendo), and after explaining the storyline it states, "Play with up to four friends on the DS' local Wi-Fi and let the party begin." That's the only mention of multiplayer, and NO mention of online play.
I can scarcely believe Nintendo would be so dumb as to make a game specifically designed for multiplayer, with no online play. Say it ain't so!

I wasn't really looking forward to this after all this online doubt appeared, but Famitsu gave it a 'hella tight' score so now I want it again.
I'm saving up already. And even better, I found fifteen quid in the street today which is going towards this.
That's right.
I found £15.
In THE STREET.
I am one jammy bastard.
There was a receipt with it too. Turns out whoever dropped it used a £20 note to buy two bottles of Sprite and apparently dropped his change.
Ha!
HA I say!
