Don't see the point in buying two mystery-solving titles at the same time? Well, uh, you could get Alvin and the Chipmunks instead. We hear it's ... a game.Add if you'd rather not have some pizza-faced clerk make fun of you for buying a game with a huge phallic character on the cover, both GameStop and EB Games have the gothic title available on their online shops for the $14.99 sale price. The original Touch Detective was never discounted, so I am surprised at Touch Detective 2 1/2 receiving a 2nd markdown to $15. Especially since the game was just released in October.
Sadly, since Touch Detective 2 1/2 is being discounted so early, it's pretty UNLIKELY that a third Touch Detective will ever be localized for North America.
Generally speaking, you NEED to buy Atlus games quickly, before the game disappears from retail shelves. If you try to find an old Atlus title, Puyo Pop Fever for example, good luck finding it from a reliable retailer.
Games generally follow this cycle:
1. Just released games - full retail price, easy to find.
2. Discounted at retail stores - marked down in price, still pretty easy to find.
3. Not at retail stores - the game is extremely difficult to find at retail stores. Less than reputable retailers like Ebay and Amazon Marketplace are selling the game at ABOVE full retail (for example, Tetris or Clubhouse Games on Amazon Marketplace).
Now is the time to buy this game, before it gets scarce. Atlus is a small publisher, and they don't print as many copies of games as a large publisher like Nintendo.

I'll be picking up any decent/popular games I see at about $20. Worst thing to do though, since I tend to beat games quickly and never touch them again. But a $15 new game the DSFanboy mentions must be good!
CAG is difficult to navigate... for me. -_-

YES, less reputable.
Every forum post on counterfeit DS/GBA games that I've ever read was bought on EBAY, Gamestop (someone bought the game on Ebay and traded it at Gamestop, then Gamestop resold it knowingly or unknowingly), Amazon Marketplace, etc.
I have never read that someone got a counterfeit game or was systematically scammed buying new games at Circuit City, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.
That's what I meant by less reputable.
