Yeah,
I love these wooden systems! I don't care for this one as much as the SNES, but I do like it. I would love to know how the buttons and directional pad feel.
That being said, I wouldn't have the heart to mod an original system because they're getting rarer. That being said, one of those knock-off systems could be a possibility. I mean, they look garbage-y, but they do play both NES and SNES games. I could see that as a mean little semi-portable.

I have three working NESs still, so I'd be willing to mutilate one to do this. Unfortunately I'm not that crafty and I'm also not convinced that the system would be lightweight enough to be enjoyable to play (don't want my wrists hurting after half an hour!).

I only have a top-loaading NES and NO!! but i would consider getting a YoBo to do this with .....but im not that crafty.....

Now put NES games on carts the size of GBA games, and make those wooden.
