Man, I have been waiting for The World Ends With You for a while now...I can pick up good vibes about games and especially if its something new. I can say this game is the most fun I've had with a video game since Elite Beat Agents; there's so much depth to the game as a RPG, but at the same time the battle is so hectic and fun.
Can't wait for some more (Sigma Harmonics) original Square-Enix games to come!!

Mystery Dungeon here, trying to detox from The World Ends With You because the music is awesome. *So* awesome.

I know I'm late, but I just want to say that WEWY = awesome. I hope they turn it into a series. Also, all you PS2 owners NEED to get Persona 3: FES. Don't question it; just buy it.

Although I will say this for those people who have yet to pick up WEWY: Beware of loli. If you aren't prepared it may catch you off guard. Just remember she's 14 when you get that hard on (unless you're 12 - 16, then it's legally ok).

Definitely playing The World Ends With You. I've even shorten my Animal Crossing playing time so I could spend more time with TWEWY. It's so good that I think I'm buying this one when I find it here.

As much as I want to play TWEWY, I just can't bring myself to foot the Square-Enix tax, especially considering that I might break down and do it for FFTA2 in a couple of months. So for now I'm trying to get back into the swing of Etrian Odyssey, and as for all consoles, I just got Metroid Prime 3 and am crying in awe every moment through it. Persona 3 FES and the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection are waiting in the wings for when I complete Corruption. It's summer vacation, I have a lot of time to fill.

The World Ends With You is my favorite game on DS. The DS was built for games like this. It is nice to see Square Enix developing new games for a change instead of milking Final Fantasy some more.

I finished TWEwY as well, and it is bar none the best RPG I've played in a while, at least on portables (Mass Effect and P3 take the cake on consoles). I was totally hooked with the story and the impressive amount of plot twists that never ceased to be interesting, and it's been a long time since that feeling creeped across my mind. This game is a definite play for an DS owner, and a must own for any RPG player - no matter how hardcore you are. With the great music, amazing visuals that, while not 3D, definitely don't make you miss 3D (probably the best use of 2D art I've seen in a LONG time), a really deep combat system that never stops being fun and never gets repetitive, the collecting aspect of collecting and evolving Pins by battling, mingling with other DS owners (even if they don't have the game), the Tin Pin mini-game, the cool character design, the refreshing setting... I cannot speak of this game highly enough.
Good job, Square-Enix folks. My hat is off to you, for proving at least once more, that you can still make great games outside of DQ and Final Fantasy. Chapeau, guys. Chapeau.
