Big week, Nintendo fans! Looks like the winter glut of games has begun ... and so many of us already blew our gaming wads for the month on Wii preorders! Guess it's time to start making some sacrifices, since this week brings us a new Nintendogs as well as the latest published by Atlus, Contact. Grasshopper Manufacture's new offbeat RPG is our pick for the game of the week, though there's a good possibility that anything with the Nintendogs logo might just outsell the Bible, much less any games that dare to compete.DS:
- Contact
- Disney's American Dragon: Jake Long, Attack of the Dark Dragon
- Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action
- Justice League Heroes
- Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, The
- Lionel Trains: On Track
- Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
GBA:
- Justice League Heroes: The Flash
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
- Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2
And for our counterparts in the UK, the exciting release this week is Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007, which hits shelves on the 20th.
As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

4 leaves take 5 4 good, 6 feet under. A shame, really.

I hope Contact is still on for this week. There's several online retailers that have this bumped up. I'll be a happy camper once I see my copy shipping.

I bought Contact last month, but have barely scratched the surface yet. I think I made a mistake buying it at the same time as Final Fantasy 3; I haven't had time or interest for anything on the DS other than FF3.
After the wonderful art style of Touch Detective, I was a bit disappointed in the appearance of both Contact and FF3. However, FF3 has won me over to the point were the visuals don't matter any more (and they're reall not _that_ bad), so maybe Contact will have the same effect once I spend some more quality time with it.

Contact and Clubhouse Games, which is slightly cheaper at Best Buy this week. May look for a few more, now that I decided against preordering Wii. I've finally realized how incredibly underwhelming it looks. I may be a ds fanboy, but no way a nintendo fanboy. :P

You kinda just answered yourself. Or at the very least, he imported and memorized what attack did what. Play-Asia. Importing is heaven.

I'm all over Contact, but didn't Spyro come out last week? I've been seeing it on store shelves already.
But i do have to pray Nintendogs dosen't sell.. It's literally a repackageing of a game released a year ago! It's the same game with a new starter breed. For a company that takes shots at the compitition for releasing sequals and ports, how does Nintendo always get forgiven for re-releasing a re-packaged game for full price?

It would be managerial incompetence for a company to stop producing a product they expect to continue to sell well.
For me, it is fine for a company to continue releasing sequels to popular games, as long as they do not rest on their laurels and continue to innovate in other areas. I think Nintendo does a good job of keeping this balance.

Has anyone been able to find Justice League heros for the DS? They said it's not out yet.
