In one of the best ideas we've seen in a while, Delta Airlines is partnering with Nintendo to bring DS download stations to the airport. What better time to test out a new title than a four hour flight? The new program is currently in place at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, though we expect it will expand if successful. If your holiday flights include a stopover in Atlanta, try to patronize one of the stations at a Delta terminal -- this is one test program we want to support!Currently, demos of Elite Beat Agents, Brain Age, and Clubhouse Games are available at the terminals in Atlanta.

I'll be in the Atlanta airport sometime next week--hopefully I'll be able to pick up an Elite Beat demo. Definitely a neat idea!
With all due respect,

Umm... Aren't you suppose to turn of all electronics before the flight takes off?? Wouldn't you lose the demo then? Not well thought out, unless Delta is promoting it's long layover times.

DO you lose demos in sleep mode?
That's kinda off. ;)

I was in the Atl airport on Thanksgiving, and I ran across one of these stations, but I couldn't get it to work. The directions on the kiosk said I had to select the demo I wanted off the DS they had there, but it never gave me a chance, it just kept cycling through all the demos on the screen no matter what buttons I hit. I only waited around for 10 minutes though.
I'll be swinging through there again around 3pm, hopefully I can find one in my terminal this time and give it another shot.

I tried it again last night, it worked. The demos are really short, for example, the elite beat agents demo was all of about 60 seconds of gameplay. It was still fun though. There were about 6-8 demos, and 2+ 'movies'. It ate up some time while I was waiting for my next flight.

I went through there last week and tried to connect to it for about five minutes before I realized some tool had unplugged it so he could charge his laptop and phone. I pretended to be from Nintendo and told him how much money he was costing the company by unplugging our download station so he left. :-)
