DS Daily: The signing

His signature rocks.Yesterday's eBay treasure-find got us thinking. We tend to idolize certain figures in the gaming world, even if they happen to just be suave business men. And don't get us wrong, Iwata-san is the very definition of a ladies' man. But in all the realm of gaming, from players to publishers, who would you want to sign your DS?

Bonus points if you don't pick Miyamoto, but, uh, we totally pick Miyamoto. I mean, he deserves it, right? And he's got such a cool signature.

It would be a toss up between Nobuo Uematsu or Yukichan's Papa (the man who is credited for doing the music for Mega Man and Mega Man 2)

Or the ghost of Gunpei Yokoi.

@5 Metroider4:

Gunpei Yokoi, also the father of the Game Boy, Virtual Boy, and Bandai WonderSwan. However, as #6 mentioned, you'll have a hard time getting his signature, as he's dead (car crash)

I would definately want Miyamoto's siggy, i mean he is gaming to certain fan boys. but of course miyamoto aside it'll have to be Hideo Kojima's, Nobou Uematsu, Koji Kondo, Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshitaka Amano, Akira Toriyama, the guys who did Pheonix Wright, the posthumus Gunpei Yokai, and finally Satoshi Tajiiri because i'm such a pokemon whore.

Nobou Uematsu, hands down. He may not be a gaming-specific persona, but c'mon....everyone who's ever played one of the Final Fantasy games knows they wouldn't be nearly as good as they are were it not for the absolutely incredible music that goes along with them.

Having said that, Koji Kondo comes in a very, very close second.
