While Jam Sessions' print advertisements leave much to be desired, Ubisoft has otherwise done a great job hyping up the guitar sim with videos of people who aren't complete tools. Our favorite demonstration clip we've seen so far was the one that accompanied Ubisoft's localization announcement, in which producer Carl Delallana strummed Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'."Carl has returned again with another promotional short to remind us that you don't need to already be a musician to enjoy Jam Sessions; there are plenty of included tutorials and lessons that'll have you rockin' out in no time. Stage dive past the post break for the embedded movie.
Remember that scene in The Rules of Attraction when Dawson plays a Counting Crows song for a girl he just met, but tells her it was something he wrote? She ends up crying from how personal the lyrics are, and being the despicable person he is, Dawson takes advantage of the girl's vulnerable state and has his way with her. That despicable person could one day be you!

Guitar lessons. I could use those if just to appreciate practically all my dad's side's guitar music.

At first i was skeptical of the concept, but i'm starting to get quite excited about this. seems extremely customizable, and the save feature makes things oh so much better. their attempt to sell it to both musicians (as a writing tool) and non-musicians (as a game) seems to be a good strategy.
