Imagine: DS Fanboy writer. xD
Why do they keep churning out these Imagine series titles anyway? Unless I've been living under a rock I reckon they haven't been selling so well.

I've already done that job in real life, I'd never want to do it in a *game*! Those are supposed to be fun!

Imagine: High School Guidance Counsellor ("...it's important to have a job with meaning.")
These Imagine games sell enough to keep making them. I haven't played them, but I would guess they're somewhat cookie-cutter, such that now that the "template" is made, you just pop out the old and put in a new, tweak some of the minor gameplay to adapt it to the new job... it probably requires less development costs, so recouping the cost is easier.
If they constantly work from the ground up and somehow are making a profit on these, then hey, more power to them.

Imagine: Advertisement Designer.
They've started to advertise these now over here on TV in the UK. Starring a member of Girls Aloud, I think, preferring the game to the actual business. Sadness. And GAME have started up a Figure Skater ad and all. Featuring ten/eleven year olds enjoying themselves on the game and some awful animation of Princesses skating and grinning those horrible, soulless wide grins to go with it.

Every time I see some dumb Paris Hilton wannabe walking around, I just remember that her parents taught her that she should never aspire to be anything more than pretty.
Thanks, Ubisoft, for keeping the circle going. Women really were starting to get too adamant about things like "not being sex objects" and "learning to read and write".

Everyday that I see these titles at work, they tend to take more and more space on the shelves everytime.
The next one coming out is "Imagine: Fashion Designer 2 New York" or something along the lines of that...
We have a running joke about the Imagine: Master Chef calling it Imagine: Master Chief; it's not that funny but hey, whatever passes time. =P

These Imagine games are creepy. I wonder what it is like being a designer for these games. Do you want to smack yourself around for making them?...
It's all well and good that DS has so many titles to choose from, but if you don't follow gaming at all and walked into a store, you'd probably think the DS and its games are some kind of gimmick.
