DS Daily: For, or against?

There's no time for beating around the bush: we doubt these guys. In fact, we even wonder if they exist and aren't some cruel joke at all of our expenses. We can suspend our disbelief with the best of them, hoping for what can rather than realize what isn't, but even we have our breaking point.

So, hate us if you must, but it's hard for us to be excited about these "games." What about you, fine reader? Think we're crazy? Think we're keeping it cool and cautious? Think we should take the puddle of mush that once was a dead horse and bury it out in the yard forever?

1. Until I hear that Nibris is NOT making any games, I reserve the right to be optimistic. Sadness always sounded awesome, and a really good horror game for the DS sounds awesome.

2. I worry about Nibris a lot. I worry that I'll never get to play Raid Over the River, and I worry that Sadness will never be released because it's not even a real game. What if Sadness never really existed? What if no one actually made a good survival horror game for the DS (aside from that RE remake, which really wasn't innovative at all)? Double Bloop even sounds good, though I don't think I'm terribly skilled at blooping once, so I'm not sure how I'll do blooping twice.
Don't worry, DSfanboy, I'm worrying enough for all of us.

3. i reckon the games are real but guys, it's harder to find a publisher then you think.

the industry doesnt take kindly to strangers and Nintendo has a notoriously bad third-party support system which makes it even harder for new developers to get a game published.

4. Nintendo took longer than this to release Twilight Princess. This wait really hasn't been very long, it's just that these guys announced their games prematurely instead of waiting until closer to release.

6. it takes quite a while to develop quality product when you have a small team, plus the problems of finding a publisher... also being a polish company they may have different attitudes towards the media than the american-style media bombardment ;)

just witness GSC's stalker... 5 years of people crying vapour-ware but hey it came out in the end and it's a great and very unique game to boot.
