Would you prefer a fat stylus? Do you already use one? Or is the skinny version just fine with you?

I have width and length (no dirty sex joke intended), BUT its all about grip (DITTO) thats where the control lies. Some styli (very few) have slip control for maximum control and precision.

i made a stylus using the phat DS little stylus and one of those large grip pens. i have hands big enough to grip a basketball from a throw, so the little pens give me hand cramps. its completely awesome now!!! i can hold it all day and not hurt in the slightest. it even has a rubber grip!

When I'm using my DS at my desk, I like to use the promotional Pac Pix stylus, because the grip has the same size and shape as a pencil. Sometimes I find myself using my Wacom stylus if I have that in my hand too. Otherwise the standard DS Lite stylus suits me just fine.

I use the freebie scythe stylus I got with Death, Jr. I returned the game unfinished, but I love the stylus. It's long enough to hold comfortably, the scythe blade rests against the back of my thumb providing leverage and it has ridges to keep my fingers from slipping.

You can cram a Phat stylus into just about any pen, with no modification required. It's a very quick way to get a pen-size stylus.
Man, I had forgotten about the Pac-Pix styli. I want one of those.

I just got some of the extendable HORI stylus after my standard one broke and they are great but a little skinny.
Though if they were any wider they wouldn't fit in my DS and I'm not interested in carrying one round in my pocket :p

I use my wacom stylus when I'm home, but the skinny built-in one suits me ok when I'm out and about.

I have the Castlevania extendable stylus, and I live and die by it. I hold it near the bottom anyway, the added length just makes it more comfortable.
I have a full-size pen stylus that a FedEx guy once misplaced, but despite it's obvious usefulness, I never use it because the size is uncomfortable and I'd have to...drumroll...carry it in my pocket.
I work in a Game Crazy, and out of everyone I've ever asked about it, the most common concern is making everything as compact and easy to carry as possible. So even the people who have super neat and crazy styli (Dialga and Palkia anyone?) don't use them because they can't put them in the DS.

I have a lot of (promotional) styli, but I'd have to say my favorites are the Naruto kunai stylus (got more use out of it than the game it came with) and the One Piece stylus that came in a DS lite accessory package. The kunai I've been using more because it's on a springy cellphone-strap-like thing. It's just conveniently always attached to my DS (and can come off the clip for more freedom). Somehow, the 4-sided grip feels really nice, with my thumb, forefinger, and middle finger resting on different sides.
The One Piece stylus is about pen-sized and has a neat little stylus holder that slots into the regular stylus slot and goes across the back of the DS Lite. Unfortunately, the stylus holder makes the Lite bulkier, and the back is no longer flat (ironically, making it almost too large to comfortably fit in the One Piece soft case that it came with).

I use a Hori stylus holder; it's shaped like a fat pen and is very comfortable. It doesn't fit in my DS stylus slot (obviously), but since my DS practically lives in my bag anyway, it's no big deal.
