Despite the fact that we did this while at our desk in another country with nobody else in the room, Square Enix seems to have listened. The company just announced a PAL date for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, and it's not in 2013 or anything. It's on March 21st THIS YEAR, just ten days after the U.S. release. Square Enix had promised a spring release for PAL gamers all along, but we had no idea whether it would hold, much less that it would be so close to the North American release. Oh, happy days!

I'm a sucker for Square-Enix games, so despite the fact the game is allegedly only 7-8 hours long I'll end up buying it anyway. At full price. The day it comes out.
And where the heck is my Rocket Slime, Square-Enix?!

I live in Aust and I've had FFXII:RW for ages!
Seriously people, there's NO reason to buy games locally if you live in Australia.
I import the US versions of games from PlayAsia and get them:
* Weeks or Months before they come out in Au
* For less than the cost of buying a local copy from a store in Au, including shipping costs.
The difference? US English instead of UK/Au English. I can deal with that. :P As someone who usually gets annoyed by US English, I really don't notice it much in any games I import...
Anyhow, here's my special links to some Squeenix games:
FFXII:RW - http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-88le-71-ba-77-1-49-en-15-revenant wings-84-j-70-23hf.html
FFCC:RoF - http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-88le-71-ba-77-3-49-en-15-crystal chronicals-84-j-70-1d7x.html
(if you buy from these links, I get a little bit of credit to spend at PlayAsia)
I went from shopping around between EB/JBHF, etc, to buying the overpriced import games at Game, and now I just buy them online... So much easier and cheaper.
It's a shame that Australia gets screwed so badly when it comes to gaming. :(
