Everybody wanted a piece of Advance Wars

It turns out people are big fans of
Advance Wars. How do we know? Well, folks don't just hang around in the bitter cold for nothing, and from the massive line outside of the Nintendo World store in New York, we're guessing people might have been a little
enthusiastic.

We'd like to call these expressions "happy," but there seems to be a dose of "can we get the hell inside already, 'cause it is cold, y'all" going on here.
War is hell, unless you can play with your dad.

That's a lot of Advance Wars fans! Oh, wait ... we know that beard.

Yeah, that beard right there.

Behold! It's GoNintendo's Rawmeat Cowboy! We see you there. You can't hide from us!

By the way, this isn't an RTS, it's turn-based. Like chess. But with more statistics. And meteors.
Moreover, this edition of AW is really nothing like the previous incarnations. This one seems to take place in a very different universe and follows the story of characters not seen in the previous games (AFAIK -- I'll have to play through to be sure), which had more common characters and added to one common story thread.

I'm pretty sure at least 80% of that massive line are people waiting for their Wii's. It's pretty much like that every morning.
