It's a wait-and-see-what-happens for me. The SD slot, extra memory and download stuff could make it necessary to get a DSi if new games start depending on them, but the cameras are just gimmicks.

Same here....and since my DS Lite is only ~6 months old, I REALLY hope all the new games don't depend on this. :-/ I'd rather wait til a while new system comes out, not just one with added bulk.

As it stands right now, I will not be getting one. I liked the GBA slot, the cameras are too low quality, but I do like the idea of the SD card slot.
Someone's really going to have to convince me into getting one.

I will happily get one. Even though I'm satisfied with my Lite this will just better. I'm just a bit disappointing with the same D-Pad.

Not a chance. I have a better camera and an mp3 player on my cellphone, while my DSLite works just fine. A waste of money, in my case... =/

It's not worth the upgrade for me. I have a digital camera and mp3 player, so I don't need those functions in my DS.

Depends on if new games coming out will actually need the camera, or will have the option of using it.
If they need the camera, i must probably get it, if its optional, ill stick with my Lite with broken shoulder buttons =D

Agreed. They didn't improve enough on it to make buying one worth it. I sure wish Nintendo would start thinking inside the box. They've done so many unusual things with their systems that they've forgotten to improve on what's on the inside: like the graphics and such. Grrr Nintendo

I don't see the changes as a good thing. I use the GBA slot a lot and although the SD slot will be interesting (as will the store thing) they haven't really shown what they'll be doing with it - and I have a feeling it'll be disappointing.

When it comes out in green, yes~ By then my DS will have probably broken anyway lol but, yes, I need to complete the rare item collection! (green phat, ice lite - which looks plenty teal to me :P)
