It's time for the evil to leave the residence and take a trip to a sunny park, as Capcom has updated their website with a new video of Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (see what they did there?), the DS remake of the survival-horror game that everybody thinks started it all. The video reveals quite a few surprises coming in the form of some new touch screen mini-games, first-person slashing and bringing fallen comrades back from the brink (further cementing the DS as a CPR simulator). The graphics are also surprisingly good, though that may just be as a result of all that blood spraying in every conceivable direction. It also looks like you can choose to play through the game with multiple characters - a lot more than the original game allowed. Personally, we prefer to stick with the master of unlocking herself, Jill Valentine. And yes, the original voice acting makes a welcome return too.
