Bleach sequel confirmed

While we haven't even received the first game yet, Sega has let loose word that a sequel to the popular fighting game Bleach for the DS is in development. In the latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine, a single-page spread confirms that the game will be seeing the light of day, as well as depicting some of the combat to come.

So Japan is getting a sequel, now how about working on getting the first game to US shores?

A Bleach game isn't coming over here anytime soon being that that the series doesn't even come on in america.

I don't know much about Bleach or the games (I'm picking up the graphics novels soon, though ;)), but what I can say is that no Bleach games, merchandise, or whatever will be released over here until the anime starts airing on [adult swim] September 9.

Actually I've seen some manga over here in some stores, and I keep up with that show (it's rare that I do this with subbed anime) and hopefully the game will be released because of the whole adult swim thing. The first one was a lot of fun, a solid fighting game.
