Turns out that Japan will be getting a special edition of Gyakuten Saiban 4, which is Phoenix Wright 4 to us English-speaking people. The special edition pack-in is an encyclopedia cartridge that reviews all of Phoenix's previous cases. It also contains all of the background music so you can listen at your leisure. Of course, our desire for such an extra is nonexistent as we haven't played any of the games beyond the first, but we have a feeling the Japanese will eat this up.Check out Siliconera for some pictures of the encyclopedia in action.

If you listen to rumors, pretty much everyone has bought Capcom at least once. Don't worry about it.
And Gyakuten Saiban 4, if released in the US, probably won't be Phoenix Wright 4. It'll be (whatever the new guy gets named in the US): Ace Attorney. I don't even know why I felt the need to correct that. I guess it's because I'm a horrible person.

I just beat number two, but....Now I'm just confused. Number 4 will feature a new character blahblabhblahba........but what about number 3? What is that? How can they be on the 4th already and not have anything about the 3rd? Perhaps I'm just tired......

The Gyakuten Saiban games were released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. Capcom has been porting them to the DS. By the time Phoenix Wright was released here, all three of the first Gyakuten Saiban games were already released.
So there you go.
