Monster Rancher DS gets the scan treatment

As promised, if the tiniest scraps of Monster Rancher Jamboree information fall from the heavens, we're going to scoop them up and cradle them like tiny baby monsters. You were warned. In keeping with that, here's the latest from Famitsu, showing off plans for the upcoming title, which will celebrate a decade of the Monster Rancher franchise. That's ten years of awesome. Well, several years of awesome and then a few we're not sure about, but hey, close enough.

Check out both the scanned pages after the jump for all the monstrous cuteness you could possibly shake a stick at. Oh, to be able to read Japanese ....

They should cross-promotion like Minish Cap gives a pig wizard with a giant ax or a triforce. Mario vs. DK with a giant barrel throwing monkey and fireball throwing plumber. etc.

I'm betting this game is going to be terrible, like pretty much every Monster Rancher game with the exception of 1, 2, 3, and Advance 2. I don't even bother with the series anymore, since the games have gotten so terrible.

I'm glad you guys are such monster rancher fans. I agree that the last few monster rancher games have been kinda shitastic, but I have high hopes for this one. It IS being developed by another company after all... maybe they will fix the mistakes Tecmo has made.
