DS Daily: Aftermath

So, Halloween has come and gone. If you're anything like us, you don't want to see another piece of candy for at least a week (we so overestimated the number of children-in-costumes coming to the door), or maybe nursing a morning-after head from a party. That means you clearly deserve some time to settle in with DS Fanboy for some casual discussion while you work to get a handle on the day. We've got a question ready for you: did you see any game-related costumes last night? Sadly, we did not. Lots of princesses, angels, devils, and superheroes of all ages and sizes, but nary a game mascot among them. This blogger finds that frankly unfortunate and is looking forward to the birth of the impending beast (February, for those keeping score at home), so that we may begin plotting things like Moogle costumes.

2. My little brother was Scorpion from Mortal Kombat (he wanted to be Subzero but couldn't find a costume for him). And while I was running around, I saw two little kids in scrubs and asked if they were Nurse's or Doctor's.

The one little girl popped off with "We're the surgeons from Trauma Surgeon!!"

I just blinked, grinned, and said "That game rocks."

Seriously, that made my night.

(Yes, I was Trick-or-Treating with my brother =P As in, getting candy and all.)
