Things have been looking so good lately for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days that these new screenshots just don't really seem to measure up. Looks like the game has been hit with the problem that so many Nintendo games seem to have -- it looks great in motion, but in screens? Sometimes not so much. By the time we have the game in our hot little hands, we're sure it will be stunning -- just as it is in some of these shots.

Exactly my thoughts, but still, rather spare some Polygons to make the multiplayer smooth and the models a bit more blocky than perfect models and Slowmo Gameplay !

I don't know, they seem decent, I mean you wouldn't expect the FULL KH PS2 graphics. But I expect the gameplay to make up for the visuals. I personally never played KH ...yet but the PSP version and this DS version have me interested in the series[never bught the ps2] would you guys recommend it (the KH games)? If yes which version [out of handhelds]. I'm thinking of buying the PSP version [nice graphics, and it should be close to the PS2 gameplay, and if thats really good I'm thinking of buying the DS one after that]
Oh and just wondering, did the anti ds and anti psp sentiments die down yet? I mean a while back everyone was like DS games are all horrid minigames and touchscreens are a dumb gimmick or the ds is too simple and underpowered and did not have enough function, or PSP games are all bad ports and it was basically a $200 paperweight or it was too complicated, expensive, and overall useless as a PMP.
-Can't wait till the nextgen handhelds roll in.....flame wars XD some of the joystiq posts were hillarious, just laughing at the unwarranted extreme hate some crazy people had towards other products....a little variety and competition is good, otherwise we would have stayed with the NES forever [thank goodness sega was there to take some market share and force nintendo to improve its product]
DS fanboy writers, I think you guys should make a post where the readers predict how to improve the DS, or what feasible improvements the next-gen DSs will have. I think PSP fanboy dd that once and the ideas were pretty interesting.

I would say that you should probably play the first two Kingdom Hearts games before you play any of the upcoming versions. I'm pretty sure there will be many points in the game where you'll be wondering something that probably was answered in the first two games. Also, even though it's not as good a game as the other two, Chain of Memories bridges the gap between KH and KH2.
Personally, I would probably buy a PSP just to play the PSP Kingdom Hearts game, but right now, I'll stick with my DS and my cell phone. After all, there's a Kingdom Hearts games coming to each of those two items ;).
