We know all too well about how regular life can get in the way of gaming, so we were wondering: is there a set pattern to when you play your DS? Perhaps you play late at night in bed, just before nodding off? Or does your handheld only really appear on the journey to work? Maybe (god forbid) you're the kind of gamer who likes to play DS first thing in the morning (to us, planning sorties before coffee is madness)?
Alternatively, you might just play whenever the hell you like. Damn students.

Hubby always works late and we carpool, so I play while I'm waiting on him, usually. I also pick up my DS when I get some free time on weekends or evenings. Depends on what game I'm playing and if I really can't wait to get to the next part. *cough*aceattorney*cough*

The youngin' goes to bed around 8:30PM every night, after that, I do the dishes and then whatever is left before I pass out is usually devoted to Ethel (come on, admit it, you named your DS, too). The wife gets her Animal Crossing fix in right before bed, as well.

If there's a title I really want to finish, I always play some type of handheld game before I fall asleep. Level grinding in Etrian Odyssey actually helps me FALL asleep.

I play Animal Crossing every weekday while eating my lunch at work. That way I can check Nookway, the Able Sisters, and the rest of the neighbors without missing anyone of them who's still probably asleep if I check them before going to work.
If I finish AC:WW early, I can play another game like Phoenix Wright or completing the puzzles in Professor Layton. Sometimes playing these games help me fall asleep at night.

I play Animal Crossing during breakfast. Most of the Animal Crossing "special visitors" only show up between 6am and noon, so breakfast is the only time between this period during which I can actually play.
I also play for a few hours in the evening, after work, and on weekends.

For me its usually during my lunch break at work...or during work if its slow (getting in a few rounds of Mario Kart in with the kids that come in with their ds). In between classes or before I go to bed. Racking my brain on a puzzle usually helps me sleep, lol.

Regarding topic; I game on my DS whenever time permits it, which means lunch-time during work and after work at home.
Regarding image; not only is that kitteh cute as hell, but it makes that Nintendo DS look beautiful. If only that colour launched in Europe! U_U'
